Plain-language terms. The unusual parts are in your favour: hard caps, free restores, and you keep your data if you leave.
The service
Fast provides continuous, encrypted backup and restore across the menu-bar app, CLI, and agent API. You're responsible for keeping your encryption key safe — by design, we cannot recover data without it.
Billing
- Free tier is hard-capped: when it's full, backup pauses. It never converts to paid without your action.
- Paid plans are prepaid. Cancel anytime; your data remains restorable through the end of the paid period, and exportable after.
- Restores are free at any size. Zero egress, no exceptions.
Acceptable use
Don't use Fast to store or distribute unlawful content, and don't attempt to disrupt the service for others.
